Inside Nirvana
Founder Dhron Galiawala spent much of his childhood playing cricket through his school years. As life moved on, his career shifted into the music industry, and with the responsibilities and challenges that came along, he gradually became disconnected from the game.
Years later, while working as a sound engineer at an arts & technology startup in Bangalore, the company organised a friendly cricket match for its employees. While playing that match, he found himself in a state of complete peace, joy and presence. In Hinduism, this state is known as Moksha, also referred to as Nirvana—a state of absolute tranquility and liberation.
That moment rekindled his love for cricket and became the very foundation of the brand.
Thus, Nirvana Bat Co. was born.
